Cleantech Open Global Ideas competition is a search for breakthrough cleantech ideas in one of six industry categories; air, water & waste, energy efficiency, renewable energy, green building, smart power and transportation. Entrants answer questions online and develop a short venture pitch video. Through national competition rounds, the best team will progress to the Global Finals that will take place in San Francisco during the Cleantech Open Global Forum in November.

International finalists will present their idea in front of a crowd of 1,000 investors, entrepreneurs, sponsoring companies, corporations, members of academia and press and will participate in additional activities designed to connect them to potential partners, customers and investors from Silicon Valley and around the world.
