A global agrifood innovation movement created by IDGC
From 2017 to 2022, Industry Disruptors – Game Changers (IDGC) created, developed, and led the Future Agro Challenge (FAC), a global platform that positioned agrifood innovation as a driver of sustainable growth and economic development. Under IDGC’s leadership, FAC expanded to 64 countries across five continents, mobilizing local ecosystems and empowering agripreneurs to address the world’s most pressing food system challenges.
IDGC designed the entire FAC architecture—from local ecosystem activation to global outreach—building a strong international network of partners, experts, and agrifood innovators. Through national competitions delivered worldwide, FAC identified top agripreneurs who advanced to the Future Agro Challenge Global Championships, the global arena where breakthrough agrifood solutions competed for the title of Agripreneur of the Year.
At the core of the initiative was the Global Agripreneurs Summit, an annual event created and produced by IDGC, bringing together farmers, chefs, startups, investors, policymakers, and organizations from around the world. Each year, the Summit travelled to a new destination, spotlighting cutting-edge agrifood innovation and fostering global collaboration “from farm to fork.”
Through the Future Agro Challenge, IDGC established one of the world’s most influential agrifood innovation movements, shaping the global conversation on the future of food.
