INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIOUM OF YALE UNIVERSITY ON OLIVE OIL AND HEALTH, HERAKLION, CRETE

The 6th International Symposium of Yale University, titled “Beyond the Olive Grove: Shaping Public and Planetary Health, Policy, and Sustainability,” was successfully concluded in Heraklion, Crete, from December 1 to 4, 2024.

This major scientific event brought together more than 50 distinguished scientists, producers, industry representatives, and academics from 15 olive-producing countries, including Italy, Brazil, and Turkey. The Symposium featured numerous lectures, discussions, and interactive activities, with contributions from leading scientists and industry experts.

The event served as a vital platform for collaboration, positioning Crete as a global hub for innovation and sustainability, while highlighting the importance of olives and olive oil for both health and the environment.
The Symposium was held at the Cultural Conference Center of Heraklion, in collaboration with:
