ID-GC is a main partner of TEDMED Live Athens, which is hosted by SciCo, a non-profit organisation whose aim is to communicate scientific issues to the public via innovative and entertaining means. TEDMED Live Athens took place on the 21st of April 2013 for the first time in Greece, under the theme “Health Forward”.

It was a lot more than an event. TEDMED Live Athens was a holistic experience featuring about 20 speakers from innovators, researchers, and outstanding personalities in the health sector from Greece and abroad. All focused to stimulate imagination, motivate thoughts into actions and promote health and medicine.

The event was made possible with 107 volunteers who contributed their time and spirit, including project leaders that brought forth worthwhile experiences: “Unlock Your Feelings” “MedinArt”, “Fill My Heart charity project”, “BioBizz workshop”, “Stem Cell Donations” and “A Smile for A Child” (all of which could be found at www.tedmedliveathens.com).

Educational entertainment was provided by SciCo’s theatre show, music therapy by Royal Drums, and storytelling by Encardia
